Assurance

All of humanity is in constant pursuit of finding assurance. Whether it is assurance in a stable job which assures a steady flow of money, that in most eyes is sure to satisfy. And let’s be honest money is needed in the world in which we live.  However, money is to be looked at as a tool in life and not the motivator in why we live.  People also want assurance in relationships which a spouse, love one, friend, whomever will not walk out of them and leave them devastated.

The #1 assurance question that should be asked today, is am I assured to be saved and going to Heaven. Here are some verses which  should give assurance to new believers as well as those who were “washed in the Blood of Jesus Christ” in years gone by .

John 1:12-13

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

John 3:16

King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:18

King James Version (KJV)

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:36

King James Version (KJV)

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

1 John 5:11-13

King James Version (KJV)

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
