Pastor Chad Williams

Pastor Chad Williams was saved at a young age.  Having grown up in a pastor's family, he spent a lot of his childhood at church, both serving and observing.  His Grandfather, Rev. Carl Shelton was the Pastor of Lebanon Baptist Church for over 32 years.

After graduating high school, Chad served as a Greensboro Firefighter, and later went into the family business of real estate appraisal.  In 2013, the Lord called on Chad to preach.  Hesitantly, he answered this call, and ultimately knew it was God's will.  While his Grandfather was serving as Pastor at Brown Summit Baptist Church, Chad began more of an in-depth role at the church.  He quickly became known as "Preacher Chad", and would lead worship, assist with administrative tasks, learn the ins-and-outs of the church and more importantly minister to the people. 

 

As Pastor Shelton retired in June of 2022, Chad assumed the role as Lead Pastor. While the new position may seem fitting, we know that it was truly part of God's ultimate plan.

Chad is married to his high school sweetheart, Melissa and they have three beautiful daughters.
