Reverend Pat Bush
Reverend Patrick Bush was saved in the Fall of 1961 at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church. Pat grew up in several places including Atlanta, Georgia, Greensboro, NC, Columbia, SC and Brown Summit, NC. He is a 1972 graduate of Northeast Guilford High School.
Some may say that he married into a life of ministry, but Pat's call to preach didn't come right away. Pat's wife Pam is the daughter of the late Dr. "Bill" J. William Kanoy. Kanoy is well known as the long time Pastor of Church Street Baptist Church and the founder of the Greensboro Bible Institute.
Pat served as a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent for many years before God began "dealing" with him about preaching. He studied at Greensboro Bible Institute, and officially announced his call on Mother's Day, 1994. He served as an Assistant to Dr. Bill Kanoy until his death in 1995, and served under two other Pastors at Church Street Baptist Church until 2012.
Pat knows that it was God who moved him and his family to Brown Summit Baptist Church. When asked what it is about Brown Summit Baptist Church that keeps you coming back, Pat's response was "God's guiding hand." BSBC is so blessed to have "Rev" as part of it's ministry, and very thankful that God guided him our way.
Pat is married to Pam, and they have two children, and 3 beautiful grandchildren.
